At school, it was me who made the class photo - I took pictures of schoolmates, developed the negatives in the school-owned
laboratory and designed dresses for friends.
Anyhow, 15 years had to pass until I made my addiction my profession. Until then I learned an electro-technical avocation, passed my Abitur on second-chance education and perambulated the world for several years, especially Asia, the Pacific region and the US.
I came back to Munich in 1985, studied physics and philosophy and worked in the movies & television business, most notably as lighting technician, set photographer and cameraman.
In 1992 I started with unshackled fashion photo production, worked together with well-known photographers and rented a studio.
My diverse experiences and interests in motion picture, fashion design and travels abroad were incorporated in my photographs and soon good contracts from all over the world and satisfied customers followed. Since then, fashion photography is the main part of my work, but also people, lifestyle and events make up my portfolio.
